Fiona and Geoff welcome you to Heymist Downs, a boutique hobby Training Kennel and Stable situated in the shade of Mt. Tamborine on the Gold Coast Hinterland Queensland; home to our Golden Retrievers and Performance Horses. We have been lucky enough to be living with and training animals for more than 30 years.
Our dogs are, first and foremost, family pets yet they are bred for show and work; some are also trained to work in Film and T.V. Our horses are trained for competition, Film and T.V. They all thoroughly enjoy our rolling creek lined acreage property.
We work hard to ensure the standard for the Golden Retriever breed as defined by the Australian National Kennel Council is always met and our dogs are available for stud duties.
We welcome enquiries at any time to discuss your needs for Film and TV Animal Stars, Performance Horses or Golden Retrievers for show, work, pleasure or a family pet.
